We found this to be an enjoyable experience, with a variety of good pasta and seafood. The kitchen area was quite visible as you entered, and it was exceptionally clean, as was the restaurant. The interior area was cozy, and there was a spacious area outside in back with tables, umbrellas and heaters when needed.
Never go to this place!!! We arrived and they want to give us a table where the dogs sit down. Very rude people and the owner I can't describe.

The restaurant does not have reception on arrival, so you walk through kitchen where you can see the plates prepared in advance, pass the toilet there is little patio inside where you find the waiter with the maitre'd. We ask for table but been ask to wait as couple of Italians arrived just behind us, we wait and been pointed the table for 2 with the finger so we ask if we could not seat in the doorway but the request was denied even if only 2 tables been occupied.
Recently me and my colleagues successfully finished an important project for a major company in Italy and in order to show his appreciation for the job well done our boss took us to La Durlindana Srl. To be honest in comparison to the other restaurants in the area this one won't be my first choice mainly because of the average docor and the mediocre service but still the meals were delicious and we had a pretty good time there.
Given that it is my first dinner in this place which to define as Top is certainly an understatement, at a dinner with colleagues we had a series of excellent fish starters that were truly worthy of praise, an excellent first course, an excellent second course, we defined it as a dinner of luxury. Congratulations to all the highly professional staff, compliments to the location, excellent food. Durlindana is a certainty in Messina.
We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We had a great time. Refined and tasty menu. The restaurant has internal rooms and an external garden. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Ideal for celebrating anniversaries and dinners with friends.
Top. Excellent service, staff always present from the reception to the continuous presence at the table to verify the fluidity of the service by understanding the customer's needs in advance. Well, you bring them a continuous progression, from the variety of appetizers with a tasting of raw fish-based with scampi, red prawn, swordfish, tuna ..... to paccheri with scampi and pistachio grain, to the second of fear in a crust of send them and king prawns au gratin to mention something . All of excellent quality. Finally, congratulations to Mr. Alessandro, as well as the owner, but above all an excellent host who always with a smile on his face, despite the responsibility of checking that everything runs smoothly, jokes with his customers making them feel like they are at home among friends. also really liked the mise en place, the only regret is that I took few photos but because I thought more about eating sincerely. Well maybe next time I'll pay more attention to documenting the courses. Excellent
